Westbrook ISD is looking for an AMAZING JH/HS ELAR Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This teacher will also be expected to provide tutorial opportunities in accordance with HB1416 as well as summer remediation for Eng 1 and Eng 2 EOC's each June as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a valid Texas Teacher Certification,
- successful passing rates for students completing JH Reading STAAR and HS Eng 1/Eng 2 EOCs.
Westbrook ISD offers:

- $3500 over state minimum salary schedule
- $2500 state-tested subject stipend

The ideal candidate will have:
- a valid Texas Teacher Certification,
- completed the Science of Teaching Reading Academy,
- familiarity with Bluebonnett curricula (ie Amplify and Eureka), and
- Be willing to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences throughout all core academic subject areas assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth.
