About Me

I am simply humbled and honored to be invited to join the Westbrook ISD community as your incoming Superintendent of Schools. As a small town girl myself, I have BIG expectations for Westbrook and hope to provide an array of opportunities for ALL stakeholders committed to the success of our Wildcats.

 

Born and raised in nearby Howard County, I have over 20 years of experience within education. A graduate of Sands CISD, I have served as a classroom teacher, a campus testing coordinator, a principal, and have spent the last several years as the Curriculum Director/Assistant Superintendent for Big Spring ISD. West Texas is my home, and I am committed to upholding the small town values I have already witnessed from so many of you as I begin my journey as a Westbrook Wildcat.

 

My husband and I have been following Westbrook athletics for a couple of years now with family ties rooting for a "W" either under Friday night lights or swishing the "Round-ball". We have witnessed a strong and passionate community who truly want the best for their kids, and we are just ecstatic to be a part of your team.

 

Relationships and trust are key in building an effective school culture. I know change can be challenging, but please let me assure you that I am here to work with you as we continue to grow Westbrook ISD's 'Commitment to Excellence'.
