Hello and welcome to the 2022-23 school year! My name is Jeran Ware Cannon and this begins my 22nd year of teaching. I am teaching 5th ELAR & Social Studies, 6th grade Science & World Cultures, 10th grade Human Growth and Development, & 12th grade College, Career, and Military Readiness. I am also the NHS, STUCO, FCCLA and and  UIL coordinator.

 

I am a 1990 Westbrook graduate and am elated to be part of my home team! After graduating from Westbrook, I graduated from UTPB in Odessa with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Special Education (K-12) and then Angelo State University with a Masters of Education, Reading Specialist and have several other areas of coursework completed after that.

 

I am married to Clayton, we have three children; Jade, Ledger, and Jentry and a granddaughter, Berkli. We attend church at Westbrook First Baptist in Westbrook. We are both Westbrook Wildcats and are loving being able to keep the tradition alive with our sons.

 

I am super excited as we enter into this school year! We have many changes coming our way that will benefit each child! Our days are very hard to recreate, please take this into consideration when you are making doctor, dentist, and other appointments. It will almost be impossible for your child to do in homework what we are doing in class. Thank you for making sure they are in class the most time possible!
